History
Over more than a decade, Virginia Cardiovascular Associates has become a renowned center of cardiovascular care to its patients in Northern Virginia and beyond.
Established in 1999 by Drs. Merdod Ghafouri, Shawn Yazdani, Hamid Taheri and Keith Chu, VCA was founded to provide a full spectrum of cardiovascular services and quick access to physicians for patients seeking reliable answers and the latest in treatment options.
VCA has also added expanded clinical departments and new services to meet the cardiovascular needs of the community. As a result, the Inter-societal Commission for the Accreditation of Nuclear Medicine Laboratories has granted accreditation to Warrenton Heart Center and Manassas Heart Center in the area of Myocardial Perfusion Imaging.
