Dr. Hassan Tabandeh was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He grew up in Tehran, where he attended medical school at Azad University. After returning to U.S., he passed his board exams, scoring all in the 99th percentile. He started his residency in internal medicine at Cabrini Medical Center/Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. His cardiology fellowship was completed at Westchester Medical Center/NY Medical College.

Board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, and adult echocardiography, Dr. Tabandeh is a non-invasive cardiologist with particular focus on echocardiography. His areas of interest include preventive cardiology and sport physiology.

Dr. Tabandeh participates in a variety of sports including running, biking, skiing, soccer, racquetball, and tennis.  He is also a proficient classical pianist.
